Full Frontal‘s Samantha Bee laid into NBC for their role in normalizing Donald Trump’s racism, sexism and xenophobia by granting him banal TV appearances, including his recent stint with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
With election polls tightening, Hillary Clinton once again renounced Trump’s divisive rhetoric, but Samantha underscored that although a majority of Americans may agree Trump is biased against women and minorities, they just don’t care. “A lot of voters have decided that racism and sexism aren’t great, but they’re not a dealbreaker–kinda like a sandwich with too much mayo,” Samantha joked. “They think they can just scrape off the extra white nonsense.”
